I likes BIG dogs and hold the believes of a tee-hugger)
I am keen on lounge and soulful house, never minding jazzy, groove, uplifting transe, funk, instrumental, good old rock ballades, rock'n'roll, country, and some R'n'B.
I love music from movies and most Hans Zimmer works.
Outdoors with friends, playing video games, drawing, playing tennis, a trip to an interesting location, teaching English and doing anything in sudden inspiration can make my day.
Some additional information:
I live in Sevastopol, Ukraine. My first language is Russian, and I also speak German.
In 2006, I graduated from Sevastopol University of Humanities to become a teacher of the English language and literature.
My favourite subject was phonetics, whis is, I guess, due to my absolute fascination by the numerous patterns of rhythm and melody certain languages can follow.
I've been teacing English here in Sevastopol since graduation and also have had several management jobs.
I am writing the blog to share my experiences in teaching, as well as in exploring the English language and culture of the English-speakig world. It is a wide range of topics that I am going to cover, including tips and strategies for learning, cultural issues, ideas for ESL lessons and much more:).
I hope it can help you.
All my best,
Svetlana Putilova
Meet Irina, my friend and co-author of this blog. She is charming, friendly, intelligent, imaginative, and never one to ignore a good dessert, which doesn't have a slightest effect on her slim figure.
She is an English teacher too. You'll be able to find out more about her as soon as she drops here a line about herself.
